Named as Manuel Argomaniz on U.S. Patent 12,474,714 B2, he connects the company’s public-safety purpose with its vehicle-security technology development. Issued November 18, 2025, the grant names Stop Technologies, Inc. as assignee.

A question shaped by experience
The company’s materials trace development work to the 1990s. An archival Business World News feature presented around 2000 introduces an earlier system under the STOVACT name. Later materials use ST-Tech and Safe Stop.
